Anyone taken advantage of this yet?
I just can't pull the trigger and pay the high prices of volo / bar hop / wvrst / etc to drink at home.
Perhaps as a special treat now and then...like if we're still locked down when my birthday rolls around in the summer.

Re: GLB Tetrahedron Belgian Quad (Rum Barrel Aged)
Agreed...hard to get great quads locally. I do a "Merry Quadsmas" event over the holidays and it is a struggle to find decent options that aren't the go-to ones from Belgium.
I do have the 3x versions of Tetrahedron in my fridge right now...holding out hope they'll be ok.

While I'm happily depleting my built up stock...I will take advantage of this before too long.
Great work!

Re: BrewDog in Toronto
I will say I have had multiple friends stay at their hotel in Ohio, and they've all said the bar is great, rooms are amazing and it's just a full on fun vibe. Looking forward to the Toronto bar opening!

Haha...ya, I'm in cellar reduction mode as well.
I likely won't decide until after the last release is done for this year and I pick up all my bottles.

Re: Small Pony Barrel Works
For those who signed up for the Small Pony Culture Club...are you going to renew for 2019 or not? What is your reason for continuing or stopping? I signed up for 2018 but have yet to pick up my bottles...waiting for that last one to drop. I've enjoyed the couple non-Club beers I've had from them but...

Re: Ontario brewed Tripels...
There are a lot of beers I've had, where I wonder what the base beer would taste like...what a fun beer tasting that could be too. Try a bunch of base beers, then try their amped up versions. Considering how difficult it seems for anyone to do a good base tripel in Ontario, I guess this is a safer w...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
You'd think they would pack and ship orders sequentially...but I imagine there is some weird logic at the LCBO like orders shipped to homes first vs orders shipped to stores....one can only imagine. I will go pick up my other beers now...and look for one of those new Unibroue 6-packs at the Beer Sto...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
Anyone grab any of those De Dolle Oerbier's that popped up online a few days ago? Brought in by Gleemer Imports, and disappeared pretty quickly. I got a few of the normal ones (i.e. not the Reserva). Looking forward to trying these babies out! Anyone had 'em before? http://www.lcbo.com/lcbo/product...

Thanks for the heads up. The only reason to hit the Beer Store....for my Unibroues.
Have a potential Quebec trip coming up so might just grab some over there...

I miss the Westmalle gift packs....at least we have the Chimay one this year...but I believe I need another Westmalle glass to have a set of 4, haha.bradb wrote:Dang, another winter release without Westmalle Tripel making a return. The Dubbel is nice but I covet the Tripel.
