Re: Too many milkshakes
I like 'em so no it hasn't gone too far. If you don't like them then don't drink them. Applies to any style. I like them too, when they're good. Can you name some that you've liked that I might check out? (other than Milkshark, which was excellent) Last few I've tried have been disappointing to awf...

Re: Too many milkshakes
Blood Brothers does some awesome creamy fruited vanilla nitro brews that are taste/texturally very similar to milkshake beers, but no lactose. Hints are at another one dropping this weekend. Yup had this one and it's much more what I would like from a non-stout dessert beer. Very unique. And I don'...

Re: Too many milkshakes
I liked the novelty when the first wave of Bellwoods Milksharks came out, but they are just too sweet and non-beery. Overall I've always disliked lactose beers of all stripes (few exceptions). I'm also lactose intolerant so it works out well. Surprising how many people are lactose intolerant - whic...

Re: Bandit Brewery
Does anyone know if Bandit sells branded glassware and other merchandise. A contact in the States wants some -for whatever reason - and I’ve never bothered going to the brewery before, but said I’d grab some for him if available. Thanks. They definitely did in the past, but I haven't been since las...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
They have a new can called Good Times Session IPA coming out, I'll assume that is one of them. The only other Beau's cans I am aware of is Altbier, Full Time IPA, Lug Tread (all in current production), and ESB (out of production atm).

Re: Post Game Brewing?????
Yet another basic contract brew. On LinkedIn, looks like it's spearheaded by an ex-Moosehead/Labatt sales manager and an ex-banker, with an office near Yorkdale.

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives
They did some work on the website over the weekend, it mind be some issues arising from that. I've noticed the way they list stock and cart stuff has changed quite a bit.

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Usually I don't mind, or even enjoy some sediment. This beer I thoroughly enjoyed the taste of, but was one of the worst case of flocculent matter I've ever seen in a beer. I want to buy more, but the compulsive urge to run it through a strainer or cheesecloth first kills that idea.

Re: Collective Arts
I was in Hamilton and did a pit stop here (I usually just do Fairweather and Merit on my annual visit). I grabbed the 6-pack of the 'Origin of Darkness' series, as it was 6 for the price of 5. These are an imperial stout series, each one as a collab with a different international brewery/restaurant...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Definitely location. It's the quieter places that have this feel. I've had the best personalized experiences at Lansdowne/Lot 30 and Laylow because of this. Also Left Field, but more because of my dog than me. More recently, Rosedale Diner. Was my first time, and my waitress was insanely knowledgeab...

Nope. There were a few other unlisted beers as well, for example, Insel Kreide. EDIT: NM, appears to be listed now. Not CBS still though.

Re: drinkvine update email
That has happened in the past to me a few times. Usually it was fixed by removing and re-adding the SKU, but can't do that this time. These glitches usually get fixed within a week.
EDIT: Looks like opening each beer up will refresh that stats for that one specific beer.
