Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Quite a few I'd like to try, though its unlikely that many of them will make it to Northwestern Ontario... There's a few I will definitely be trying to seek out!

At Weston crossroads Karmeliet was totally hidden from view behind a box of Kwak on the bottom shelf. Me and a fantastically helpful staff member (a totally rare breed indeed) spent a lot of time looking for it in the back and every where else. Hmm, if I were into conspiracy theories I'd think some...

Spent the $11 on Howe Sound - it's pretty good, but I found it a little hot, and maybe Imperial Pumpkin just isn't my thing. I left half in the bottle to see how carbonated it'd be today - good to know when the pothole filler comes out. Probably won't be buying this one again, but nice to have the ...

Southern Tier is in the system, though no listings of inventory yet. Looking forward to trying that one though.

I love a good scotch ale. I like McAuslan's version, and Jacobite is still one of my favourite beers. Its an under-represented style, but I hesitated when I went to buy it tonight. Don't know, maybe because I really don't like the blackberry porter. I may wait to hear what some others think, and he...

Any idea whether the Shipyard brews will be widely available? Or will they be similar to the limited releases that only see 20 or so stores?

All but the kellerbier are brutal. Dont support the evil empire. It's a good introduction to the craft beer scene for those who are used to macro lagers. I certainly support effort to increase demand for better products, so any new craft enthusiast is more than welcome to join in! The greater the d...

Re: LCBO Summer 2012 Release

Some tasty summertime brews... I'll be stoked to get my hands on the Phillips and Shipyard. Took down Phillips Trainwreck Barley Wine the other night, quite tasty indeed, so pumped to get another stab at a Phillips brew.

Mine just arrived in cambridge, so about 8 days for them to transfer it. Here's to hoping that the delivery truck is on it's way north! Just picked up my order today... Definitely ahead of the 6 weeks they quoted when I paid up. Here`s to hoping that future orders are expedited as quickly! Stoked h...

I'm curious to know how much the area impacts the delivery times... If it's based on proximity, it'll be a 6 week wait for me because I'm all the way in Thunder Bay! :x

Keep6 has been on the ball with PO's lately. The last DDC order was also done very quickly, aside from an initial delay due to Aphrodite production. I swear the store transfer took longer than the actual order. I paid today and they said the store transfer could take up to 6 weeks... :( Here's to h...

I just noticed that Keep6 posted a tweet saying the order is undergoing the LCBO lab testing, etc. and should be available for pick-up soon! Woohoo!! Although I'll still have to wait for it to get shipped to my local LCBO... Still stoked nonetheless!
