Sorry for the delay on this, things got a bit busy. Will be placing the order in the next couple days for some Stateside IPA and BGB from Mikkeller. Just waiting to hear back on availability of the southern tier creme brulee to possibly order at the same time (so if you are insterested in some of th...

I think the idea of an OCB store similar to the wine stores in many of the Zehrs stores would be a great idea. Not really a threat to the Beer Store either, as their core clientele of mobat drinkers would not change. It would likely get people to start trying some of the great OCB products available...

I went into the guelph LCBO on Stone Road tonight looking for the ST IPA, which they did not have yet, but they did have 2 cases of Rogue Dead Guy Ale in. Looked like I got the last of the first case, but there was at least one more case worth (4x6packs) out. And they have a cold 'beer room' at that...

The Jackie brown would be good to try too.

As far as timing, if we get enough people and I order in the next week or so when the jackie brown/IPA come available, they should be ready for pickup in about 3 weeks.

I would be looking at paying for the products in advance, then having them shipped to a local LCBO where I would pick them up and then arrange pickup with people (either in Cambridge evenings/weekends, or I work in downtown kitchener, so that would work weekdays). People would then pay for their sha...

group in KW/Cambridge/Guelph area to split private orders

I am in Cambridge, and while the many private and consignment orders coming available recently look great, in most cases a full case is more then I want (ok, I want them all, but can't afford it :) Looking for some people interested in splitting some orders. I figure 6 people would be good, as that ...

I don't think the online inventory is 100% accurate. I picked up a bottle of the youngs double choc stout at the Kitchener store (river/ottawa).

Maybe try giving a few stores a call.

I decided to give this a try based on some of the positive reviews I have seen.

When I poured it, there was no head at all. Drinking it, I would say there was very little if any carbonation to it at all.

Is this normal for this beer?

I once had what they call a 'stout float' at the heuther hotel in Waterloo. They used their own stout which I beleive they brew, vanilla ice cream, and some chocolate brownie on the bottom. I quite liked it, and have repeated something close using a guinness at home. I poured the beer first and let ...
