I wouldn't disagree with that, but I do prefer it to the standard ST IPA, as I find it more refreshing and crisp.

Thanks to R&R for the order! Pours a clear golden with a creamy white head. Aroma is of grapefruit and sugary breakfast cereal. Taste is sweet with some spicy hops in the finish. This 3724 is similar or the same as the strain for saison Dupont from what I've read. It must be a mutant or not a traditional farmhouse strain, as I find it hard to believe Southern Belgian cellars get to 80-90F in the fall (or any time of the yr for that matter). Summerhill has a ton of the Hopfen-Weisse. One thing we can't complain about the LCBO is their very reasonable pricing on beer. Although, what's with the backlit displays of beer at Summerhill? I saw some backlit Innis and Gunn in clear bottles and shuddered.

Ballsy. I love it. You'd have to watch them like a hawk so they don't add all these dark specialty malts. Some of these guys just can't help themselves making a muddled, malty mess of an IPA.

Thanks for taking one for the team. I saw it and almost picked it up. It's frustrating that their lackluster brews are always taking up valuable seasonal shelf space.

Brewing my first ever batch beer: A partial Two Hearted clone. Needs a bit more attenuation, and the colour is too light, but tastes pretty good so far.

Next is Racer 5 clone.
