Re: Exploding cans

A little explosive can of orange juice and beer to spice up your day.

I assume this is just the batch that would be sent to manitoba.

I completely agree. The Kapow! IPA is their first beer to really impress me. Everything else I've tried has been just okay.
I have a bottle in my fridge, excited to hear that.

Re: Detroit

Looks like I might get in a night in Detroit this weekend…found this which doesn't look like it was mentioned before - Jolly Pumpkin opened a pub in downtown Detroit. Gotta check this out! http://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/detroit/2015/04/09/jolly-pumpkin-brewery-detroit/25524071/ http...

Re: The Bellwoods Brewery Release Thread

Yeah I feel as this brewery continues to release new stuff a few times a month, it would be better to have it's own thread.

Re: New non-LCBO/TBS beer releases

I'm kind of wondering if we should just start a thread for Bellwoods releases. Seems kind of silly to lump this in with everything else. +1. If anyone on BT has the time / has had too much coffee to drink they could copy-and-paste the relevant posts of the past few weeks to a new thread. And done, ...

Re: Crossroads (Weston & 401) clearance section

There's about 2.5 cases of LTM Porter Baltique (750 ml) priced at $6.75 each. Bottled August 2014. It still scans at $9.99 so make sure you get it for the clearance price. There also a bunch of LTM Sang-d’Encre from Oct 2014 for about $3.50 if I recall correctly. Did you mean TDD Sang-d’Encre? Not ...

Re: Pittsburgh PA

If not worth a visit, Draai Laag has some interesting sours. Hit or miss for sure, but if you are lucky enough to find a Red, Blue or Black Briar (or set up a trade with a local through BA as I did) you will not be disappointed. I enjoyed Fat Heads. Church Brew works has a nice location, but middli...

Thanks, I guess I'm just not seeing these listed yet.
Realized that I had to search these through the LCBO main site cause food and drink wasn't working for recent releases. Ommegang showing stock

Re: Pittsburgh PA

I'm driving to Pitts soon and was wondering if there are any breweries to check out on the drive, or any good stores. I was there earlier this year for a flight/hockey game and only had the ability to check out whole foods and fat head.

Re: Mascot Brewery

I saw the review on blogto earlier this year and was immediately turned off by the 5L keg deal. 130 bucks for just over 10 pints?
