Re: Ontario Beer Delivery Index
Has anyone received their Motley Cru order yet? I ordered Saturday morning a few minutes after it went live. I got a message saying ‘it was on its way’ on Monday afternoon with an expected delivery of Tuesday. No updates since then and still showing expected delivery as Tuesday the 7th! I’m in no r...

Also, several breweries have shifted to Canpar. So far these have shipped blazing fast, and no issues upon delivery. Quick Google search shows Spearhead, Grain & Grit and Cowbell are using Canpar. Anyone else? I wish Dominion and Sawdust would switch over to Canpar. Half Hours and Bellwoods jus...

Re: Ontario Beer Delivery Index
Maybe it's just my local post office, but my order was just left by the front door today - no signature or ID required. I've ordered a few, only one slipped through. The odd thing is, I have a concerige that signs for the packages. Canada post refuses to even take them off the truck. My delivery gu...

They regularly end up in my junk mail, so I find them a week or two late.

Re: Ontario Craft Beer, Imports and Pumpkin Beers at the LCBO (Fall 2019)
So I suppose the imported beers Brunswick sells fall under this rule. I didn't think it would apply since they're imports and not even Brunswick's own beers, but I guess they've found a loophole. Either way it's pretty nice since the LCBO seems to have stopped carrying Weihenstephaner Dunkel (my fa...

Re: Ontario Craft Beer, Imports and Pumpkin Beers at the LCBO (Fall 2019)
I don't think so -- it has to be brewed on-site for them to sell it directly out of their facility. If a distributor could simply open up a retail storefront (which is what you are suggesting they are doing), then surely Keep 6, R&R and all of our other excellent distributors would be doing so ...

Lokal Dusseldorf Altbier. Don't do it, it was just plain bad. Too sweet, thin, metallic and it had a very off-putting sour/barnyard aroma going on. A little digging suggests it's a separately branded Old Tomorrow offshoot. It's too bad, took a chance since I love altbier and no one has one regularl...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery
I was wondering if anyone has had infection issues with beers other than the 2018 BOYD? I sent a Black Roses to someone recently as a desired extra in a trade and he let me know it had gone quite sour. Has anyone had issues with 2017 BOYD, 2017 or 18 Skeleton Keys or recent 3 Minutes to Midnight? C...

Having a Mikkeller Peter Pale & Mary - super nice sessionable APA at the LCBO! 473 ml cans. It's contracted by Muddy York over near St. Clair and O'Connor but it tastes like any great brew made overseas by... Mikkel. Pretty sure it's actually contracted to Brunswick Brewery, just around the cor...

Re: Cantillon Gueuze Lambic
I got all my Cantillon and 3F delivered to my local LCBO right before the long weekend - including the Hommage. Placed the order within the first 5 min of it going live, which itself was about 10-15 minutes late.
