Don't tell Eric, he'll have them off ya in no time
Already planning on raiding his cellar on saturday.
That's how he gets all of his good beer. The rest he just home brews.

Its an awesome list, and a great leap forward for Alberta. You're lucky bastards, though I expect the price point would test all but the most dedicated. I'm trading for a Gilloise and its not cheap. Yep, the price point is rather brutal. Roughly $25 per bottle. I picked up about a case and a half o...

With Bobsy:

Dupont Avec Les Bons Voeux
Cantillon Vigneronne
New Belgium La Folie
Paddock Wood Loki
Jewbelation 12

Best of which was probably La Folie though Vigneronne was pretty swell.

Jolly Pumpkin. To get even one of their releases in (Any of them!) would be fantastic and a huge step forward for the LCBO.

On a more realistic note, Mikkeler Beer Geek Breakfast and ST Iniquity would be swell.

No. It was just assumed the people to drink it were capable human beings & not complete idiots.
Knowing who our Prime Minister is they might have assumed wrong...

I believe the CBC article on the delivery stated that the beer would end up in the Hockey Hall of Fame. A waste of beer!

Probably have a beer (12-20oz) 3 times a week with the occasional, irregular visit to a pub with friends, in which case I usually have a couple there. Tack on the occasional 'tasting' that too often involves way too much drinking. Plus the occasional glass of scotch or wine.

no wonder they make fun of us in Quebec, see the correlation? Not really, no. Just like Ontario, Quebec has a few really solid breweries, and bunch of mediocre ones, and more than a few awful ones. I agree. And yet disagree. The difference is that Quebec's top-notch breweries kick our top-notch bre...

Tons of butter in mine, couldn't finish it. Brutal. Seriously, how does something as poor and inconsistent as this make it out of the brewery and into the LCBO? The first part of your question is more important. I don't think anyone at the LCBO actually tastes the product. ( I might be wrong). I ag...

I love how it says they'll be trickling onto shelves IF you want to try any of them. I think I would have passed them all.
