also, that press release is on their main web page saying they are tapping a cask of the Beaver River on Saturday at the brewery. I should look into hotel rooms.

Beau's WinterBrewed in the fridge for tonight. Grabbed some from the brewery this morning. Bottle says Ale infused with Nicaraguan Coffee, says it's 5%. Had a sample taste at the brewery, great aroma, great taste. Nothing subtle about the coffee. If you are a fence sitter about coffee beer, this one ...

Is it really a volume thing. Has anyone ever been to Trafalgar? Is it some huge brewery that is able to pump out millions of gallons of beer a month to meet the LCBO demand? From a local point of view, Beau's seems like it is about the same size as Heritage, if not bigger, yet Heritage is able to g...

does a place like trafalgar have a dedicated lcbo/beer store rep, like a second company? I can't imagine a brewery going through the hassle, paperwork, lab tests etc that the lcbo requires to keep us all 'safe' from inferior products (yet, craked canoe is allowed to grace the shelves), for each rota...

I wonder if that's with the 'American Style Amber' mentioned on a previous tweet?

Just get your product accepted! Couple of forms, voilà, presto! Lazy brewers. Nice having an intelligent conversation with you. oh, come on. They are essentially your words, not mine. I simply clarified the rant, and you hit the tangent of "sick of whining", "easy to have your beet f...

So, it made mote sense for the brewer to anticipate the event 6 -12 months in advance, and jump through all the application hoops and aproval processes, rather than just being able to sell their one off, or "new" brew at a point of sale location that is not their brewery.... Damn lazy brew...

Most are missing the point of the rant I think. Essentially, he tried some good beer on location, and was frustrated that while these breweries could sample their products their, the only on site availability for purchase, like most events in Ontario, was an lcbo booth location, only able to stock t...

Proper aging will get rid of the sulpher notes. Being a "safe" beer at a place like that, they probably go through alot of it, and pulled it out too early. Bartender was probably being defensive cause he knew.

Lugtread fermented with a weiss yeast I believe. Looked filterd so ended up with a very kristallweizen profile, but maltier and more hoppy. But then, I had quite a few of them.

I didn't vote cause I'm not sure where I stand on this. That said, they were touted as The Canadian Brewing Awards, no? Maybe I missed something, but they were not listed as the Candian Microbrewery Awards I don't think? The GBAFs, or the world cup of beer also don't specify micros only which is why...
