I'm pretty sure the standard practice is to do it in one large shipment. The shelves aren't always restocked immediately though, so if the website says they do have it, be sure to ask them to check in the back.

Dogfish Head 60

I thought the DFH was supposed to have hit the shelves by now. Was I wrong or is there something holding it up?

Has the LCBO carried Twisted Thistle IPA before? I found one in my cellar, hidden amongst empties (love it when that happens!), but I can't remember if I got it here or at BOTW. BTW, nice job on the lists, Greg. The ratebeer links must be tedious, but are appreciated! Yeah it has, and it was very g...

If it's half as good as beerbistro's beer pizza, it will be delicious.

If you're talking about Maclay's Pale Ale, it was most definitely the beer to blame.

Well the Liefmans brews make it a more interesting release than the last one, so it's not all bad.

In my experience transporting beer, the heat doesn't really seem to damage it. I'd be more careful about keeping it dark and keeping pressure off the caps so the seals don't break.

God I'm sick of politicians who think the answer to budget problems is to raise taxes. Any moron can increase taxes, we elected them in part to work out a budget within our means. Raising taxes is just a cop-out.

Then it would seem that although you seemed to be defending TBS a little bit (maybe not?), The Beer Store creates their own listing fee. So while they don't directly reject craft beers, they accomplish the same thing indirectly, and probably more efficiently. As we all know, Labbatt/Molson/Coors own...

Saying you got it from the singles bin won't necessarily accomplish anything. I've tried taking singles and saying it's from the singles bin but the local LCBOs place stickers on the beers in the bin and will not sell you a single unless it's also stickered.

The best idea is to hide a bottle somewhere in the store and tell them there's a case with a beer missing. They'll split the case up and sticker them for individual sale. Not that I ever do that...

Unibroue Don De Dieu

Picked a sixer of this up while I was in Quebec for the weekend because of all the Unibroue beers, I've never seen this one in Ontario. My god is it a nice beer. It's one of - if not THE best of - the abbey tripels I've had the pleasure of trying. Best served warm, the nose is of coriander and orang...
