"as Chiodo points out, 'Smash' is actually shorthand for 'Single Malt and Single Hops,'" Is Smash Bomb actually a SMaSH beer? not according to their website, 4 different malts and 2 different hops. Seems like a poor way to make the name seem more socially responsible then. Not justifying ...

Last year, the 2010 bottles were $15 and vintage 2009 bottles were offered for $20 bucks a pop.

I'm staying on the Mag Mile in Chicago for Fri & Sat. The Hampton Inn in Munster is long sold out. Maybe meetup for beer? Sure, I usually stay on the Mag Mile as well... I've stayed in the Hard Rock and Hotel 71 in the past... It's very easy to get out to Munster, take the Millenium Line, then ...

Re: Dark Lord Day 2011

So it looks like by chance I'll be in Chicago the weekend of Dark Lord Day. Anyone else planning on going? Easy/hard to get tickets? Worth the effort? I'll be there for it... I went last year, had a blast, and hungout at Local Option, Revolution, Piece Pizzeria and Brewery, and Map Room etc. on the...

This weekend we decided to 'Randallize' Flying Monkeys Netherworld here at Gambrinus. Ended up creating a Hole Mole (holay molay) Netherworld with fresh cone hops, cocoa nibs, smoked chipotle peppers, a touch of coffee and some bittersweet chocolate from our local chocolatier! We'll be running the R...

Starsan?

Does anybody know of a place I can pickup some StarSan from in Toronto or GTA?

Unfortunately, I can't find any in London, and figured I could pick some up when I visit TO in a few days.

Any help is much appreciated.

Rob, we'd be happy to run another keg of Galt Knife through the Randall for you... or any of your beers at that!

I'll keep adding photos as the weekends go on.

Cheers to all.

Randall v3.0 at Gambrinus!

We just placed our Randall the Enamel Animal online at Gambrinus for the first time this weekend... it was a great success! Galt Knife was our first beer to be Randallized through tons of fresh whole cone hops and chunks of honey comb! After that keg finished, we repacked it and pushed a keg of Hopt...
