I corresponded with Navin and he's equally disappointed with the lack of beers at the Dome, and conversely, impressed with the selection at most ball parks on his trip. He noted that one of his final articles will be on how to improve the experience at a Jays game, and he'll feature the beer selecti...

The year's first batch of Green Tea Ale was brewed today (I think our brewer's still finishing up actually), and we've made some tweaks since last year. We're confident it'll end up with a much more pronounced "tea" flavour, and much closer to what we originally intended. We've also adjust...

Miami Weiss bottles

More Project X beer at Great Lakes! We've got a few cases of another pilot brew available from our retail store. Miami Weiss, an American style wheat ale pumped up with amarillo hops, then 100% bottle conditioned (our first ever), is available in 650ml bottles. Grab one before they're gone. We're wo...

Wimpy Impy Stout bottles

Hi all, We've got a limited amount of our most recent Project X creation, Wimpy Impy Stout, available for sale only in our retail store. It's no 12% barrel aged craziness, but it's still pretty intense at 6.5% and approximately 80 IBUs. It boasts a big roasty, rich body, with a significant bitternes...

There may even be some fun and games...watch our blog for the details!

Canuck is currently just a one-off release, but we're considering looking at it again down the road. Our Orange Peel Ale is in the tanks, conditioning, and should be ready by the second week of March.

Wow, quite a bit of discussion about our latest beer here. Interesting to hear the variety of responses and feedback. As most of you know, Canuck Pale Ale was based on a number of pilot brews we've done over the past few months. We scaled up the recipe for the brewhouse, and have been tinkering with...

Cask Ale at Bryden's

One of our favourite local bars, Bryden's, at Jane & Bloor, is now offering cask ale. In addition to their 10 + craft beer taps, this is a pretty sweet place to drink some great beer and watch the game in a cozy setting (i think the capacity is less than 60). Bryden's will be featuring our pilot...

We're really happy with the result, as there's still a potent hoppy aroma and flavour, and just enough body to back it up. Our retail store is open till 6 from Monday-Saturday, and it'll ...

Don't even get me started on what we've had to go through to get a new brand approved...thankfully the LCBO is really excited about it so we've found a solution. But still...even though names and labels may pass AGCO guidelines doesn't mean they pass the LCBO Social Responsibility guidelines. A frus...

Does anyone else know if this video is still around? Very curious to watch it.

I would have thought the larger issue would have been with the crown image and the "beer of champions" phrase. Seems awful similar to "king of beers" but maybe that's just me...

Nope, nothing left tomorrow. We finished it early this evening. And it was tasty. Yum.

Thanks to the folks at Victory for putting this on, hopefully we'll brew it again soon.

In the meantime we'll be tapping two new beers at Project X next week, and might have a surprise in store too...
