Re: Rorschach Brewing
Stopped by Rorschach yesterday and they have a diverse range of great beers. I'm equally a fan of their IPAs, dessert stouts and sours. Right now they have a line of barrel-aged imperial stouts that come in reasonably sized bottles, at 375 ml. It'd be great if more breweries adopted this practice!

Re: Henderson Brewing Co
I think some beer folks (not necessarily people here) distrust brewery owners that don't have "beer cred". The Henderson guys have marketing backgrounds, and it shows through very creative initiatives that they've done over the years. But having a marketing thrust doesn't mean that beers ...

I've made two on-line orders from them this year, and while I'll skip the details, I wanted to give a shout out to Stephanie Whittaker for great customer service.

Wow, today I learned! Sounds like the laws changed a couple years ago and left for the provinces to figure out. Here's a resource: https://canadabeermap.com/canada-wide-c ... -delivery/

Re: You think we have it bad
Things have gotten significantly better, and it's funny that we can thank a pandemic for that. The insular nature of the Ontario beer market has contributed to the rise of several excellent breweries. If it were its own country, Ontario would be considered a great scene. My main complaint is still t...

Re: What’s in the back of your fridge?
For my birthday my lady made roasted duck so I thought this 2015 Boulevard Bourbon Barrel Quad aged in cherries would go nicely. Was in my cold storage not in my fridge though 😄. I think it was from the LCBO winter release 4 or 5 years ago 413C8CD7-B648-4999-9843-9A6AA7BE4162.jpeg Sounds like an ep...

Re: What’s in the back of your fridge?
Sounds like a fun idea! I haven't seen that kind of thing online in any organized way. I have a poorly kept beer cellar that'll probably yield some drain pours (which, let's face it, I'll drink anyway).

Re: Strawberry Beers
Had one of these Collective Arts and Dominion City collaborations called last Pride in Place, a strawberry basil IPA. Thought it was one of the best local s-berry beers I've had! Re: What're you drinking right now?
On a whim I ordered a 12 pack of Creemore Urbock from their online store, mostly for nostalgia's sake. (A decent deal, $35.95 for 12 x 473ml including doorstep delivery.) Honestly wish I could remember what it used to taste like from the old days, as I remember it being Creemore's break from their ...

I've been cracking into all of my bigger, high-octane bottles that should have been cellared by now, except I don't have the space for it. Thinking I should invest in a good champagne stopper, because some of these could last me a couple of nights!

Re: What to do with the Bar Towel Forums?
This is great! So cool to see some upgrades to the forum. Is there a way to adjust the margins/columns so long strings of text, like this one, wrap earlier? While it makes the page longer, it's easier to read on widescreen monitors — 60 characters per line (or 5 words on average) is considered best...
