I've been to C'est What a couple of times in the last few months and every time I go they have been out of the Black Oak Pale cask. I am a huge fan of the Hop Bomb, so I assume this must also be great pint. I might stop by tonight, so maybe I will have better luck this time.

Just a heads up everyone. I stopped at Queens Quay LCBO on Wednesday and noticed the Asam Bock was on the shelf @ $2.95. What a great beer for the price!

Gary, the date on the cases is the date of bottling. I find that freshness is very important when it comes to Cameron's beers.

JWalter, I am in my early 30's and too drink alot of beer. I drive over from Etobicoke once a month or so. I'll keep you posted about future outings. It can be dangerous going over there for a couple of beers when there is a fresh keg. It can quickly turn into crashing in the spare room for the nigh...

Interestingly enough, my brother bought a house five minutes from the brewery a year ago. I pointed out when he bought the house that he lives within a close distance from Black Oak, Camerons, and Trafalgar. His friend was a Molbatt drinker and my brother liked lagers like Moosehead until recently. ...

I grabbed a six pack on my way back from Montreal last summer. I found it thin and ordinary. Not that it was horrible, just not something worth buying in future.

I for one love IPA's and pale ales and will be buying at least a case of the 60 minute! I brought back a six pack from Cleveland last summer and enjoyed it very much. Hopefully there will be enough bartowellers buying this that the lcbo will bring in more of this beer style from U.S. breweries in fu...

I agree with Gary about Volo. I have gone to Volo probably a dozen times over the last year or so. I work nearby. The impact that an owner like Ralph can have on the atmosphere of the place is huge. It's nice to go to a restaurant/pub where they appreciate your business. It's very obvious that Ralph...

The Granite has their best bitter available in two versions, the cask version is called Special Best by the regulars. It can be an amazing pint when in top form. I spent some time in Cambridge England last summer and I too gained a major appreciation for this style of beer.
