Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

No problems at all with the lip. I'm sure some moron suffering from a horrible social disorder will rub his tongu...

I tried a pint of the oatmeal brown last night and it was really solid. Deep brown colour with a touch of caramel when held to the light. Light grain, a bit of sweetness and a nutty/chestnut character on the nose. Also a mild floral aroma. Much of the same on the palate. Medium body and moderate car...

except that it comes down to profit, not pride. they are doing it solely based on sales trends. "we need to capture those dollars!" an executive screams at a board meeting. Um, so what? Greg Koch did a video explicitly trying to convince bar owners to switch from mass to craft as they'd m...

Holy crap, you guys are impressive. I am not nearly this disciplined. Not even close. When I take a jaunt over the border and stock up on bottles, it's a matter of months before they're consumed. I find myself getting a little too generous with friends and family on a fairly regular basis.

To be fair, when was the last time you saw advertising for Old Milwaukee anything? I think the last time they changed their brand was when the put pinup girls on the cans. I once had a bar owner tell me how "psyched" he was that Old Milwaukee was planning a Pabst-esque revival, and that h...
