Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Being no economist I found it interesting that the author quoted Eric Clemons and an average product is not good enough in the US beer market. You need to have an awesome product that will woo customers. I think I agree with this, especially when you look at the Ontario market, you walk into an LCBO...

I love The Syndicate, their Lundy's Lane location, but frankly I have gotten such terrible food and service at Taps on Queen you would have to pay me to step foot in there again. The tipping point for me was when I went for wings, which were tiny, but ok, the nail in the coffin however was the 'bleu...

I have already been doing similar experiments at home and I would be game for joining this. I think it would also be interesting for all brewers to do the same hop variety in order to see the differences that will come out based on our home breweries. For example, being a BIAB & no chill brewer ...

I just follow the advice of brewers FAR more experienced than I. John Palmer was quoted as saying: But these days we don't recommend secondary transfer. Leave it in the primary, you know, a month. Today's fermentations are typically healthy enough that you are not going to get autolysis flavors or o...

I agree with adding additional bittering hops, perhaps at the 40 minute rather than 60? If you are really eyeing a BIG hop aroma, you might want to consider dry hopping with another half ounce of either hop. My last beer I dry-hopped for two weeks with 2 ounces of Amarillo and I was disappointed wit...

A vinator can be had for $20ish bucks at almost any BOP, i am pretty sure locally http://www.vinecowineworld.com/ has a lot of supplies and accessories. As for myself I head across the border and hit up Niagara Traditions for almost everything I need. If you need anything from Niagara Traditions let...

What I have done typically is give them a good 24 hour soak in oxiclean, rinse well, then i use a vinator filled with star san to sanitize. Works like a charm.

Oh the large Hadron Collider...it really is a testament to mankind's pursuit of knowledge. I think its awesome to have a beer be inspired by it.

Peter, you really should incorporate that into your zany packaging. That would truly be epic ;)
