Finally picked some of this up today. The LCBO in uptown Waterloo had 8 six-packs and we bought four of them. Thanks for being so incredibly considerate of others who may have wanted some as well. Especially when it's in such ridiculously limited quanities. To be fair, there were four of us....

Finally picked some of this up today. The LCBO in uptown Waterloo had 8 six-packs and we bought four of them. It's interesting, every time I try this beer it tastes a bit different, but always great. The first time I had it on tap it seemed a bit lighter and crisper. Second time was at the Kitchener...

I haven't noticed this with Quebec beers, but in a recent trade I got a bunch of different East coast beers and I seem to recall several (from at least two different breweries) had a weird sour-ish lemon tea flavour in them. Couldn't figure out why that was.

I tried the Muskoka HW last night and totally loved it. I like my weissbier to have some spicy/fruity flavours. I had both Weihenstephaner and Denisons on tap at Esplanade BM last week and was underwhelmed, especially by the latter, which did nothing for me. Is it supposed to be plain and tasteless...

Wow, that's messed. I finally tried it at a bar the other night. Five of us had trouble finishing one bottle.

This reminds me a bit of a story on BA where in someone's blind wheat tasting, Rickard's White came in first. Not quite as bad as Bud Light Lime coming in second, but still interesting.

According to the Beer Store website, a case of Bud Light Lime costs $41.95. But a case of Fin du Monde is a whole $3.30 more than that. That's a tough choice.

Studying for finals with a Neustadt Scottish Pale Ale right now. I'm liking it more than the last time I had it... for some reason I recalled an annoying alcohol bite at the end, but that seems to have disappeared. Currently considering going to bed, but might crack a Tankhouse and keep studying for...

I am very excited to finally be able to buy this. I tried it on tap at a local bar about a month ago and loved it. Then again at the Kitchener Rib and Beer Fest, this time it was a bit fruitier and possibly even more delicious. Can't wait to pick it up!
