Can't really put up with Leno or Letterman. Don't watch Fallon much but definitely my preferred of the three.

To be honest though, I watch O'Brien a lot more than any of those. Perhaps worth adding to the poll?

Damn, I guess it's good to see Ottawa folks so interested in a new beer.

I'm hoping to be at the cask event at the Arrow and Loon on Sunday so hopefully I can try it there.

Has no one heard of Red Fang? Have any of you drank before? No? Listen. Learn. Repeat!
Saw the video for Wires for the first time a couple weeks ago. So so good.

This weekend it was a mix of NoFX, Faith No More, Steve Earle, early Anthrax, early Beastie Boys and House of Pain. Really I'll listen to anything save for techno-dance music. Dan - I had a roommate back in univ who was into all those bands. He got me a 1 night gig roadie-ing for Morbid Angel. My p...

I also think it's not terribly creative. (Initiate mandatory defense of metal music) In many cases, no, it's not very creative, but creativity isn't always the goal. Listening to music that is passionate and forceful can be just as satisfying. Also, there are many well-established creative metal ba...

Just read about the 613 IPA for the first time here: http://www.ottawacitizen.com/life/Beer+scene+comes+head/4954292/story.html Is this basically a rebrand of Sgt. Major or something new entirely? Will there be lots available at the brewery? I might try to come by Sunday in the late afternoon or aft...

Can't be surprised people returned them. If the bottled version is like it was on tap, I could drink about half a glass before it became a drain pour. Soooo much ginger. Interesting for sure, and not offensive per say, just couldn't deal with much of it.

It is an interesting craze, especially considering that I haven't seen much marketing for RR in Canada at all. I guess College students are always looking for the next "cool" beer and RR fits the bill. I thought this was a cool beer for US college kids about 15-20 years ago? I visited my ...

To be honest, I've never had a terrible experience with the LCBO, although I've never done a private order and rarely make any special requests. A few less than perfect encounters, but nothing awful. There have been multiple times when an employee would look up a beer I requested on the system, then...
