We're currently getting 3 shipments a year of Landlord here in Alberta. Arrives about 4 to 6 weeks old, so as fresh as it can possibly be. Such a lovely drop. Hope to see more of their range make it over.

I thought the Vanilla Noir was really artificial tasting. The Prairie Noir was too hot for me (whisky & chili), and felt really thin. The Wine Barrel Noir was very good (vinous, tart, roasty).

Best I've had has been the Coffee Noir. Oh, and Puncheon.

I've tried a few of their beers and have yet to see what all the hype is about. Wasn't a huge fan of Bible Belt, but then I don't like chili beers. Still, a ...

Brouwers is a cool place, except the patio when the sun is blazing down. Went there of a lunchtime and it was very, very quiet. And didn't meet any of the surly staff that people complain about. The tap list at Bottleworks was pretty impressive. There was something soothing about walking around a bo...

There's a newish cider/craft beer bar opened up in the Capitol Hill area, http://www.capitolcider.com/ . Just up the road from Pine Box, on 818 E Pike St. I went there just as it opened in July 2013. Good local and European ciders on draft and in bottle. Decent beer selection, and good food. Bottled...

That's a stupidly good price on the Pierre Sparr Cremant Rose, and it's a good alternative to the more popular Champagne.

This Cremant is around $26.99 in Alberta & $29.99 in BC!!!

Still have my 1996-1997 Boon Oude Geuze. I had it when I joined this forum, with the intention of finding more. Will definitely be a special occasion when I open this one. Also: 1995 Sam Adams Triple Bock - was kind of lousy back then. Don't know if age will have made it drinkable. No expecting so....
