Re: Pioneer Ontario Breweries
Northern was founded in 1907. I think they would be more akin to Moosehead as a regional macro producer were they still around in their original incarnation today. Were Sleeman’s independent, I’d suggest them for that category too. Certainly nothing ‘micro’ or ‘craft’ about the former in the sense t...

I noticed today they have updated the Utopias price. Has this come and gone and I missed it? Or, is it coming? Anyone have an idea?

The best food item I’ve seen as the requirement for purchasing take away booze is at Thirsty and Miserable. The do it yourself potato chip. One raw potato for $0.25! Love it!

Re: Stack Brewing
Does anyone know what happened to Puppers? I searched the LCBO website and it doesn’t look like it is currently listed. The brewery website doesn’t seem to have it either. Have they ceased brewing this? This stuff gets me such great hauls in trades with the States, I think I’ll cry if it is no longe...

Re: Coronavirus
If buying power doesn’t factor in to some of the LCBO pricing, then how are beers like Rochefort 8 and 10, Sam Adams Utopias, etc. such bargains compared to so many other places? I was always under the impression that the complaint is that it factors in so inconsistently rather than that it plays no...

Is the bitter the same recipe as last time? If so, I had the first batch and quite enjoyed it. I don’t have my notes handy at this time though, sorry.beerstodiscover wrote:Anyone try their new Pure Pilsner or AK English Bitter (Gary Gillman collab) currently available online?

Re: Breweries in Prince Edward County
My wife’s cousin asked if I wanted to jump in on a box from Parsons he was ordering. I’d had one of the BA stouts from them in the past that was pretty good so jumped in. On the plus side, our order was processed and delivered to Toronto in less than 24 hours. On the negative side were two cans cann...

They are very good with responses to questions and queries. They really are! I fired off an email and got a pretty quick reply out of them, informative too. They said the competition is fierce though and it's rare and expensive.. Damn! Check out Keep6 too. Same set up. The Importing wing of BarVolo...

If I were you I’d also keep an eye on the Gleemer import options. You never know when they might add some odd strawberry 3F case to their offerings. It would likely sell out in seconds though! I've never even heard of this, is it another website? Importers. They post in these forums. They being in ...

Hello there, Saturday Beer Drinkers... Having Godspeed Shizuoka West Coast IPA and a few Otsukaresama Dortmunder. This Dortmunder is obscenely tasty after some trail hikes out in the bluffs in glorious Southwest Scarborough. Luc Bim Lafontaine is a blessing to our humble Ville de Toronto. Wash your...

Re: Best Traditional ON Craft Brews
That Muddy York Grodziske was really nice. However, I don’t know if that is a traditional style like a Gose, or a trendy style like a Gose.
