Okay; even then, which breweries get to have two beers represented while others only get 1? Easy.... Rock Paper Scissors... Ok, my OCB 6-Pack (for Market): Mill St. Tankhouse Ale Black Oak Nut Brown Steamwhistle (or if they've left the OCB, then King Pilsner) Magnotta Wonder Weisse Wellington Speci...

Hey Sweet, welcome to the site... Keep in mind that many of us have been into craft beer for a long time, so from time to time you might see lots of excitement about a new, (or new to Ontario) beer that is a little different, and we perhaps have a tendency to not get quite as excited about all of th...

First off, great question. Personally, and I'm sure not everyone shares my opinion, I feel that generally speaking 'styles' are useful, they can be used to quickly convey lots of information. For instance, if I say, this beer is an IPA, you should be able to very quickly have an idea of the color, f...

Mondial de la Biere - May 31st to June 4th - Montreal, QC
Ok, it's five weeks away, who's going? Steve-E and I are driving up to Montreal on Friday morning, planning to also hit Dieu de Ciel either Fri or Sat night, also a good deppaneur to bring back some goodies... Anyone else going for sure, want to meet up somewhere? Also, if anyone is planning to head...

I was a HUGE fan of the Rebellion Ale and was also very BITTER when it went away, and then when Dragon's Breath Pale Ale also disappeared it was very, very depressing... I would love to see Sleeman's/Upper Canada start to release some good beer... It seems their 'Signature' series isn't too bad, not...

Just some info, perhaps I'll check this again in a week, I just searched on DFH60 Minute on the LCBO website, pasted the results table of stores w/ stock and SUMmed the Quantity on Hand column and it totals 1463 bottles, or 60.9 cases. I don't think this is a complete picture of their inventory, but...

Agreed. Filson got this one wrong, Session Ale definitely is something that you can drink in a Session, meaning I think at least 3 or 4... I wouldn't always expect it to be under 4%, personally I just want something that is flavorful, but not over the top, like a Fuller's London Pride, or certainly ...

A few points: 1) I've got my 1st case already! Had a few bottles this weekend, excellent stuff!! 2) Assuming this beer DOES go like Wildfire, selling out completely within a month, you have to think that's a good thing long term and that the LCBO will be more likely to continue including American Pa...

Reading your posts reminded me of the story of how you're supposed to make a 'REAL' Martini... That is, you pour your ounce or two of gin or vodka into the glass and then just show it the vermouth... I'm wondering if that'll be the way that new ultra-light beer will be made... They'll take a bottle ...
