I like their coffee- never bought bottles there. Probably best to stick to Omni

Or Ottawa, for that matter. Best of both worlds up here!

Esprit is listing the 12 at $16 per bottle with case availability in January as per the product listing sent out a couple days ago. I'd suggest that if anyone is interested they should look there. Alternatively save your bucks and buy more St Bernardus (I see it's also also available from Esprit). ...

I assume that would've gotten out by now. I'm not an insider by any means, but there hasn't been any word of Ontario getting any of the Westy packs.

And yes, I jumped a little when I read the title.

WRT Amsterdam, the Tempest was incredible, possibly my favourite Ontario beer this year.

Just a heads up for the Ottawa folks, Lupulus is on sale right now for 9.99 at Omni, as well as Oak Aged Mackroken Flower for 9.99 also. Furthermore, all glassware is on sale and a bunch of other deals I can't remember. Also, they have the two limited Simple Malt beers, and the Imperial Stout and Ba...

Re: Charlevoix DV Double

I've said it before, but I'd LOVE to see them pull off a quad. I think they'd do a fantastic job! The Hibernus is their equivalent of a quad. Admittedly, I haven't had Hibernus in a year, but I don't remember it being a quad. More of a belgian strong dark ale with spices. As in, I don't think it ma...

From Keep6 on Twitter: "Don't worry Ontario..we got some @MicroBrasserie Charlevoix Lupulus coming this spring to the LCBO!" Great beer! Sure to be costly, though. It was $18 last time I got some in Quebec. Where did you pay 18 for Lupulus? Fresh, I paid 15, but it's been on sale in gatin...

Peche Mortel Day

Any one planning on going down to this on Friday?
I know it's pretty far for most of us in Ontario, but Cask Péché Bourbon sounds pretty appealing.

They're brewing a new dark lager. It's named Logger. Not terribly interesting, maybe with a new brewery in town they'll be forced to step up their game?

I would be oddly annoyed by that.
It's almost certainly new batches of 17. This beer is being re-released in both Ontario and Quebec; I doubt it would have been feasible to store a sufficient quantity for four years.

DDC often sells their seasonals in 4-packs in Quebec, so maybe they're using this packaging for the Ontario market? Or perhaps they're transitioning all their packaging to 4-packs.

Disappointed in this release. Nogne O and Monster ale are obviously exciting, but the number of repeats is dismaying. Can probably get a better deal on the Quebec beers in Quebec, so I'll stick to that.
