Re: Bellwoods Brewery

^^ this is the special edition of 3 Minutes with raspberries added. The regular edition, with just the tart cherries, was released a few months ago.

Re: What're you drinking right now?

On Saturday evening at Bellwoods:

Dry-hopped Sour Ale
Farmageddon
Jutsu
3 Minutes to Midnight with Raspberries

The standouts for me were the the Jutsu and 3MM... both were absolutely delicious.

weird.
It's on tap at Bellwoods and it's a big, amazing beer. Perfect amount of fruit in it.
Agreed, had it on tap last night and thought it was fantastic. You really do notice the raspberries, which is a nice addition.

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

Definitely agree that the bourbon is subdued compared to the coffee, which really shines through as it warms.

I think I'll try and pick up another one when I'm in Burlington this weekend.

Apologies if this was posted elsewhere, but there is now a ton of this out at Summerhill, so it should be appearing in other LCBO's very soon.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Anybody know if Cuvee Van De Keizer Blauw is coming back this year?

I didn't see it on any Christmas/Winter release list, but I'm holding out hope it will just show up unannounced like the Unibroue 17

From what I heard, the Goose reps and some LCBO guys by the door were actually encouraging people to grab a second ticket and line back up to get a second bottle

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

Anybody know when Bolshevik bastard is returning to lcbo? According to NB's twitter feed today, it's returning to LCBO's now for the winter. Definitely happy about that given its price point. Is it going to be the same price?? Wasn't last years price a mistake that they couldn't change. Ahh, didn't...
