Exact same for me - managed to find some vanilla, but no coconut whatsoever (and this was probably around mid-2014 as well).

That would make sense that it's the brewed on date, since the case I grabbed my 6-pack out of had a large "Best before 22/08/15" stamped on it.

Bolshevik Bastard at $9.95 for a 4-pack is a pretty good bargain IMO. Also, I've always thought La Fin du Monde, Trois Pistoles, and Maudite were always great value for their 4-pack prices.
