To top it off, I got the call last Friday that my Garrison order had arrived at my local LCBO. So now it sits in my cellar, taunting me.

Maybe the GO service to the area will help. I know (as I mentioned at the open house) that it's very convenient for Toronto gatherings to be able to get a ride to Burlington, and then use Go/TTC from there. Now that GO is available from St. Catharines (or N. Falls) on weekends, it'll be even easier ...

Turnout was quite low in numbers. Dutchcanuck and I each showed up with a friend, so it was a pretty small affair. Regardless, I think we all enjoyed ourselves, and Ian was a gracious host. Andicus, Just bring a colouring book and sit her down in the corner. No problem! They also have a nice fenced in patio where she could chill out. She's 13, so she probably wouldn't appreciate that! :) Also, she's 13, so she'd be pestering me while I'm trying to enjoy myself, too. I'm sure I'll work...

Excellent review! Like lagerale, I've only tried the Blonde, and wasn't too thrilled with it. This review has sold me, and I'll be stopping in. Great to read that they do growlers. I wish the Merchant Ale House did likewise.
