Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I hate being a "Negative Nancy" but it's really frustrating when beer releases happen on a normal working day, at 11 am to boot. Can we at least get a staggered release time?!? like 3 or something. Coming from out of town, it's a bloody nightmare getting any where near the brewery during t...

Re: The Bellwoods Brewery Release Thread

Agreed, especially with their upcoming expansion. They are, arguably, our best brewery. Why not give them their own space?

Re: New non-LCBO/TBS beer releases

If anyone would be willing, I'd love 3-4 bottles of the GLB RIS. I'm coming from Kitchener on Sunday to Toronto, I could bring some trade beers or cash. I just can't get down there until Sunday....

Re: 3 minutes to midnight

I'm betting that this beer mentioned in the Bellwoods newsletter will be 3 Minutes to Midnight: Maybe you were looking for some warning about important, upcoming dates like, say, the 12th of June when a barrel-aged beer that's only been released once before in the history of Bellwoods, will again b...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

It's extremely close. They are both solid pale ales that would be perfectly acceptable for everyday swiggin' purposes. I liked SNPA marginally more, but Goose IPA is cheaper so I'm more likely to go for that one again.[/quote] I haven't had a SNPA in ages, but my memory is that Goose is more bitter,...

I've already got both in the fridge for the weekend. Along with some Pompus Ass, Canuck, Red Racer, and a few other randoms.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

I'm with most of you on this. I grabbed a couple of sixers and I wasn't impressed. It's a good tasting beer, nice and smooth but not what I was expecting. A friend brought over Boogie Monster and Witchshark, and those were both a more pleasing hoppy beer. Yes they both are IPA's but I expected a bi...

I tried to send you a couple PM's. If you didn't get them then I guess my messaging isn't working. I am interested though.

I was there when they released Jutsu ( which was quite good) and the bottle shop girl said there wasn't anything about 3 minutes to midnight in her book. Lambda however, was in bottles.
