Hi Everyone We're going to be releasing our new Seasonal Beer: Double Chocolat Cherry Stout (guess whats in it?) Adrian our brewer did a fantastic job in creating this very fine beer. Ideally we wanted to create and release this in the March time frame. But to paraphase "We will sell no beer b...

If this does turnout to be like the Sleeman/Unibroue deal, where the Unibroue product supposedly isn't going to be tinkered with, this could be good news for me as Creemore might actually make its way to the East Coast. Molson and Sleeman are very different beasts, though, especially with Coors thro...

(As for the Cantillons at beerbistro, we have the Gueuze, Rose de Gambrinus and a limited amount of the fabulous Fou'Founne left.) What, no Kriek? (Sorry, just couldn't resist.) I'm with Jeremy about the Mort Subite Gueuze, it's no Cantillon, but in a land with no other Gueuze to be found I'd have ...

I was lucky enough to get to see that in person. Totally made my day to see all that Keith's not going to make it to market. It was destined for Ontario, too, according to a local news story.

Both Bow and Arrow and Beer Bistro definitely do. I think Volo does but am not 100% and I have previous gotten a 'taste' at C'est What, Smokeles and Biermarkt but its not really enough to truly say you have had the beer usually. Biermarkt used to do the sampler trays, do they still? When I was ther...

I suspect it would be the 1892 Traditonal Ale. They call Eric's Red a Cream Ale, and their description of the traditional calls it an amber.

Oh yeah. :o Mountain Crest started distributing at one of our private stores here in Halifax last year. Makes a good 1-2 combination with Steelback. Who knows maybe you'll get lucky and they'll knock each other out of business. They're all contract brewed by Joseph Huber in Kansas City according to ...

Any bets on the chance that Franks going to have a Blue Thunder ad soon apologizing for it being out-of-stock because of its overwhelming popularity when in fact they never shipped it. Or am I just being to cynical? Seems plausable...say does any of this foul steelback swill have to go throu...

Anybody want to take bets that this is a Steelback troll. They are getting a little wiser. He rated Tango, but was careful not to overrate it--just gently suggests that it shouldn't be listed as the worst beer on the site. Here we go again. No doubt. I loved the guy who gave Tango a 4.something and...

I assume that mine was the 2003 version as well, purchased in June 2004. Here's my rating - a 1.4 out of 5: Dark brown colour with a frothy and fizzy fully diminishing off-white head. Cola-type look. Hmmm...a porter that smells vaguely like a malt liquor, that can’t be good. Grainy, corn, vinous, an...

And I have only ever seen Labatt Velvet Cream Porter once since then -- in a dépanneur in Montreal ten years ago during a rowdy Leafs weekend. Bought a six pack, too, and got teased for it. As good as I remembered it being. I picked up some Labatt Porter last summer at a Depanneur in Cap Rouge outs...

Apparently it's not just the customers - my brother-in-law is in Ottawa as we speak and just sent me a message saying that the clerk at the store (he didn't mention which store) he checked couldn't find any Orval in the inventory system at all. I'm assuming that isn't true since there were 200 cases...
