Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

With no information from the LCBO and Keep6 in the past 24 hours, my guess is they are working on some BS summerhill release, where only the people of Toronto get the HF stock... Plan is for it to still be an online release: We are working to make online & mobile orders of the #HillFarmstead be...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

Looks like they pulled stock, will try again when they hopefully have an idea of how much traffic will hit again.

I got it at Queen & Coxwell, but it's pretty much all over.
That's the one. It's the first 4-pack of short cans I can think of in the LCBO for GLB.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Does anyone know when the hell the Collective Arts Liquid Arts Fest IPA is finally hitting shelves? Apparently there was a delay, then CA said on social media it would be out this week. It's still not in the system though. Need this beer! Bought one from the brew shop when I was back home. It's so ...

Re: Rouge River

These guys are one of my fav breweries in the GTA and would highly recommend. They do both hoppy brews and sours amazingly well, but even other styles are really good, too.

Re: The Six Brewing

I grabbed a few bottles to go the week they opened up, beers were meh. It's a neighbourhood brewery. I'd rank it with Bandit, but pick them over this place. Have potential, but I think it's focussing on local pandering a bit too hard. All the beers were renamed recently during a contest. Edit: My on...

Re: Cider

Okanagan seems to be undergoing a big re-brand right now. They were actually bought out by Labatt maybe 2 years ago (along with Mike's Hard). I haven't had it in a long time so don't remember how it stands. It seems the best ciders I've had from the LCBO are all seasonals that never return (eg, stil...

That has happened to me a few times on these hot releases. Such as, 20+ in stock when I enter my CC info, but email later in the day saying they don't actually have any.

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Was about 2 years ago, but just did some quick research and the beer scene is different in HK than mainland by more than I thought. The mainland Chinese favour the various international imports much more heavily, and HK beer is catered to the Aussie/Brit expat community. When i was in HK, only 3 wor...

Re: What're you drinking right now?

Half way through a HopCity Hopbot IPA Hard to believe but true. I found thirty six bottles of this at a grocery store in Qinhuangdao, China when I was living there. Bought a couple, drank them, then went back and bought the rest. The same store also had Barking Squirrel. Interesting, any proof? Not...

When this rumour popped up on Urban Toronto a few weeks ago, it was stated they'd take the location of Court Jester at 681 Danforth.
