Thanks for the advance notice Ian. It will give me time to grow out my rat tail. If we do not have a theme for the tasting on the 24th it is fine with me as well. I will however follow Ian's lead and offer up a Quebec beer. I have a Unibroue 2005 (750ml) in the cellar I can bring. It is no dark cher...

I wonder if there is any damand for Cantillon in Ontario??
If I let this keep going, I would probably have to rent a U-haul.

Hmmm...You do have empty delivery trucks leaving your workplace every day. ;)

I think Ian was wondering if we were going to attempt a tasting based on style, or a single brewery.

I like Ian's idea of trying to focus on a single brewery at the tasting. From the list he posted I could do something with a Fullers, Stone, Dogfish or Nogne tasting. And if we know the brewery focus in advance, I can always prepare by picking up their beers in trips to the states. My place is best ...

So far, we have 6 people coming, but our host just announced he is unable to provide us with a venue on saturday due to other obligations. Is there anyone willing to host this tasting, or do we try a different date? So far, would come: - iguenard - Lubière - Brews Phillips - cfrancis - The Mick + g...

It is important to remember that of that 15 bucks, something like $8.25 is a charitable donation to Operation Come Home. If another brewery wanted to start something like this as a commercial venture, or just set it at a more competetive price point, a delivery service for around $6.75 isn't that u...

So I just got my Beau's BYOB delivery. Apparently, I am one of 10 people who managed to get involved in the single day it was operational. The deivery people showed up in their BYOB coats and hats with my beer in hand, but seemed disappointed/dejected at the news. It was kind of a sad sight. While I...

Lambic night: 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek Cantillon Bio Geueze Lindemens Cuvee Rene ... The Lindemens can't hold a candle to the Cantillon. Huge difference in complexity. Man, I'm so jealous of the 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek. On my beer bucket list. Always loves me some Cantillon. And that was just the regu...
