Re: Crossroads (Weston & 401) clearance section

I was there earlier this week. Unfortunately none of the Leelanau Golden Ale left, which was the main reason I stopped by (I'm slow). They still had tons of Illuminati on the shelves, I guess the $18/375 mL price isn't making it fly off the shelves. Lots of L'Imperatrice still, too. I got a few bott...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

^^^Absolutely agreed. I got about a case worth of it, I'll be drinking it all summer (and saving a few). One of those beers where it's almost hard to believe that there are no actual cherries in there.

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2017

^^^just bought a couple of the Elvis juice. Havnt had yet, but a buddy told me it's pretty good I just grabbed and tried one last night. I concur with your buddy, it is pretty good. The (real) grapefruit zest flavour is pronounced, but not like one of those new-fangled fruity IPAs. In this one it's...

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2017

People of Hawkesbury, ON: You can no longer complain that Toronto/Summerhill gets everything first. You are currently the only store in ON that has Saison Brett from Boulevard. Be proud.

Has anyone tried Brewdog Elvis Juice? I'm kind of wanting to try it but have yet to take the plunge.

Le Trou du Diable Mellifera - 600 ml - Canada

is missing, is it gone?
This is actually now listed on the LCBO site, no stock. I checked a number of others, but the only other one I saw listed so far is the Warsteiner Weiss. Still, great news (for me at least) about Le Trou.

Re: Good red/irish ale from a Toronto brewer

I tried the Lost Craft a month or so ago and did not like it at all, FWIW. Not an Irish Red, and not Toronto, but I did get a Belgian red ale from Nickel Brook this past weekend that was pretty interesting if you think the person would be interested in trying something like that. I got a growler, bu...

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

Wow. I was looking for some info on a brewpub and I find this. I actually looked up the NN can. I don't really like the design at all. I do, OTOH, like the Immodest can a lot. But that's not really the point here, is it? As someone else said, those taking offense here really need to step back. What ...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

There's a new Unibroue mix 12 at TBS I don't see this on the TBS website. What's it called? ditto, i'd like to pick this up. is there a way to check stock by location? Couldn't find it at all on the TBS site, I don't think it's even listed. However, the other issue I was anticipating was whether it...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

This series is always quite good even if they don't all measure up equally such as with the Poire/Pear. I would never pass on the Blanche Chamby Witbier either, but then I like the style if it's a real solid one like St. Bernardus or Charlevoix. BD Chambly clears well for years in a well–kept bottl...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

thanks b'n'g! the bottles are 4/10/16 which i took as april 10, but oct 4 is even better I got some last night, and also had to check an older bottle to confirm the date format means October. Had a fresh(er) one last night and did actually enjoy it a lot. So much so that I'm going to have to actual...

Re: LCBO Online Exclusives

Has anyone grabbed the Le Trou Du Diable Dulcis Succubus? Curious how it's tasting and whether I should order this, the Buteuse or Le Coq if I had to pick one. I had a bottle of Succubus recently. I got it in Montreal, though. I enjoyed it, tart and kind of fruity, but heavy on the funk. I joined B...
