I don't understand why most people wouldn't sort their empties, not only for the courtesy aspect, but also to have an idea of what you are owed. It's a wonder what items have been discovered in empties returns when there's a mixture of cans, bottle, wine bottles, etc, all tossed together in a plasti...

Oh, how I have fallen in love with Mill St beers over the last few months. I thought the Lemon Tea was excellent. I can really see the Lemon Tea taking off in the summer months. I'm just hoping the 473's become available in the Chatham-Windsor area.

Sam Adam's Summer Ale

I tried this one on tap at the Morrisey House while in London a couple of weeks back. Very drinkable with a meal (or without meal I would assume!!) Nice colour and goes down very easy. On a side note, I really enjoy The Morrisey House. Love the beer list that they serve and a great menu as well. If ...

Just picked a mixed six pack of Mill St. Tried the Lemon Tea Ale last night. Very much enjoyed it!! Tea taste wasn't too overpowering but subtle enough that it was there. Good stuff!

My wife is the greatest. She went to Windsor the other day and on the way home stopped and picked me up a 6 pack of Mill St Coffee Porter since I had been talking about wanting to try it!! After reading some good and bad comments about it, I wasn't sure what to expect. I personally thought it was an...

Bought a six pack of Mill St Belgian Wit and can see me picking up a case next time. I really enjoyed this beer. You seem to hear more about their Tankhouse but personally I think I enjoyed this one a little bit more.

Something similar to this happened at out TBS just on Friday. Someone came in and asked for a 12 pk of Sleeman Clear cans and we told him it was old code. I think that may have been a blessing for him!

I agree with Steelback Guy. I work at TBS and alot of the customers can be rather annoying but I never let that show in my job performance. I enjoy working there and I think it shows. I know if someone comes in and is unsure of what they want and are looking at the "beer wall" for suggesti...

Steelback Guy, I'm sure I will feel your pain today. Working an 8hr shift at TBS on a day that is open between two holidays :o . Should be interesting. At least last night I was able to get in a couple Tankhouse to lift my spirits in preparation. Enjoy the rest of the long weekend folks!

I will have to check the codes when I'm in out of curiousity. I don't know off the top of my head the shelf life for Steelback but those "M" codes that Ukie mentioned must be nearing old code,if not, already, especially the 08 one :D

Yeah, The Beer Store is selling all of the Steelback at the lowest possible price until it's all gone. None of it is old code, at least at our store, as we recently sent some old codes back and received some more stuff in. We still have Light, Dark, Lager, and the Honey Brown. I haven't yet tried an...

In my younger years it seemed, I really had to try some of the most brutal beers! Does anybody else remember Labatt Extra Stock? I think it was about 6 or 7 % and pretty bad. Me and a buddy drank that pretty frequently before I wisened up.

Your First "Go To" Beer

I thought I would start up a post to get some conversation going on what your first " go to" beer was that you bought / drank most often when first starting out drinking beer way back when? It may be humourous to see what we started out drinking compared to what our tastes are currently. F...

I've been reading over the site here the past month or two and finally decided to jump in with my first post. I really enjoy this site too by the way. Well, here's to it..... I work at The Beer Store and as Biegaman said in an earlier post, the beers that sell the most at our store are any of the di...
