I hope that's not a typo in the headline. "Kokane", talk about brand association appealing to a young demographic.

If you want to hang out, you got to take her out - Kokane.
If you want to get down, down to the ground - Kokane.
She don't lie, she don't lie, she don't lie - Kokane.

I saw this, although comical, isn't it really just the process of High Gravity brewing that they are doing, not making beer that has less alcohol than stated on the can. The process is a compromise of fermenter space and quality, but I doubt this will get far. http://www.brewing-solutions.com/produc...

I already think it sounds cool. Even though no troupe of Canadian musicians were involved in the making of this Bare -- I mean beer. Speaking of Canadians... Oh, forgot to mention something important. Stormy Monday could not have been brewed without the involvement of Jon Downing, Sam Corbeil, Ryan...

My bottle count is pretty low, haven't brewed much since fall, but that should be remedied soon. Right now I have in carboys some 1.5 yr old mead, cider from this fall and a Kiwi Berliner Weisse that should be good to go pretty soon.

They have used ones too http://canadianoakbarrels.com/html/used_barrels.html but may not be suitable for brewing purposes (could be dried out) that's the hardest thing, coming across a used barrel that can still hold liquid well. Usually if you have a good connection with a winery, it helps. But hav...

I wish I could have taken some pat leave when the kids were younger, "luckily" - I was laid off last summer (or more accurately, my 8 year employer just sort of imploded and disappeared). It sucks to lose the stability of a job, but having the summer off with my kids was something I could ...

to drink, people... to drink. Good stuff, many people would shy away from marketing your brew as being similar to poop, but not Evil Twin.

Can we keep this thread on track? In December I heard rumours of 2 craft breweries starting up in Hamilton. If this one is the first to announce, I wonder when we'll hear from #2? All good news for the area, in any event. Team Hamilton needs to meet! I heard of 2 also, just don`t know who the 2nd i...
