St. Ambroise Vintage 2014 - sorry - not this year

Fellow BTers, I will be heading up to Montreal this week to determine what package format I can bring in for this year's version of Vintage. Also - I need to go through the Private Ordering process at the LCBO as an agent (new to me) to understand and to determine what their pound of flesh will be i...

Yep - for no real reason the LCBO has decided to have neither RIS or Vintage this year. I recently discussed this with my boss about the doing a one-time "private order" here on Bar Towel and to the licensees. Would you folks be up for that? If so - let me know and I'll get the ball rollin...

I just scored a St. Ambroise Vintage Ale three pack/vertical pack at an LC in Brampton. Kinda lucky since I never had one when they came out. It was $14.95... anyone remember how much it was when it came out? It isn't listed on either site now. I feel like it was the exact same price. Ahhhhhh -- th...

Picked up a growler yesterday of their IPA. Nice brew and nice folks too. Looking forward to trying the rest of their line-up. Spent many years driving up to Lake Kennesis to a buddies cottage -- so they have a great location at #35 & #118.

icemachine is correct.

There are some stores deemed as "combo" stores where the population doesn't warrant having both a TBS and LCBO -- so LCBOs have the 24s TBS selection.

Cheers,
Barry

Fun fact! There are still some left! Psssstttt!! I was down at Queen's Quay last week - they moved about a dozen just inside the doors on the left hand side as you enter (gift area). The Vintage Vertical 3pack there has been reduced to $12. That's $4/bottle -- a total steal. Other stores still have...

What kind of schmuck cares about the visual quality of the graphics before worrying about what goes in the packaging? -- saints_gambit Reminds me of a time back in the late 80's being in a high school rock n' roll band -- we had a great name and logo design... even ideas what our first album cover ...

Re: well SKU you, there's still work to be done

why was the St. Ambroise Vintage pack discounted to move quicker when a private store likely would be happy to hold on to those well into the year? The LCBO system seems to encourage binge shopping if you actually want to have anything. This was painful. Last fall we had it released with much fanfa...

Liberals have to pay for the gas plant fiasco somehow. Both package and draught went up. Not much -- our cans and 6packs went up a nickel each. Draught is being updated.
