These packs are pretty clearly not targeted to the bartowel crowd. That said, it's too bad that the Muskoka Hefe has such poor distribution. It's one of the better beers in the pack, but it'll be hard for people in the GTA to find if they buy the pack and want more. -Josh i've seen tons of the Musk...

Could somebody provide directions for me to reach the pavilion? (Walk, transit or whatever method is easiest).

Cheers!
Where're you starting from? Depending where you get off the bus, you might have to detour quite a ways around the G20 fences.

Notice that my questions regarding the composition of CEO, MP, newspaper editor, and large institutional leadership positions (unions, universities, etc.) went unanswered. From living and working in Chicago (albeit very briefly), traveling throughout the U.S., and visiting friends down south, I'm convinced that the American 'melting pot' model of cultural assimilation is actually quite effective at integrating immigrants and minorities and encouraging them to advance...

What's the deal with this one? It shows up at one store in St. Catharines and nowhere else?

Re: An offer to (almost) any Ontario brewery

The American IPA is an Icon of the craft beer movement, and I think Matt's idea is to brew something that will sell, and continue to do so. And there's the problem with this idea - selling the beer. Who's gonna buy it? Where's it going to be sold? You can't sell a single small batch at the LCBO or ...

This reminds me of a day I spent outside Munich, walking through the trails to get to Andechs brewery. We must have walked for nearly an hour before lo and behold, the brewery (monastery?!) was upon us. If anyone else has been here before I think you'll know the kind of experience I'm talking about...

I checked the Hart House Beer fest website and it was $35 last year, I didn't attend, can any bartowellers that attended let me know if the cost included beer tickets? The cheapest ticket to the Toronto Festival is $40 but includes 5 tickets which may buy one or two samples plus you have to put up ...

Has anyone ever had any problems flying with corked beer bottles? I was in NYC a few weeks ago and I was really temped to bring back a couple of big corked bottles of beer with me (I really wanted to bring back the Brooklyn-Schneider Weiss), but I wasn't sure how a corked and caged bottle would han...

Beau's is already triple shifting their brewhouse after the backend upgrade and bottling line in late 09. So they are basically at capacity until they fork out some significant capital on a new brewhouse. I am not talking about from an LCBO red tape standpoint, but from a production standpoint. I m...

Sure, it isn't something that you can drink all day long, but certainly good for special occasions, or times where you literally are just having one beer. I often enjoy the fact that a kic...

I'm also open to f**ked-up naming conventions as always! We are looking quite seriously at a larger format bottle for this stuff as well.....oh, and pink growlers at the brewery for sure. Just curious, but what's the attraction for brewers to do "bigger" beers in bigger bottles? I've neve...
