You balked on a beer that was 7 weeks old? But a 5 week old bottling would have been A-OK? Lord help us all. Actually at the time of purchase it would be 8 weeks old. I was just wondering what people thought about buying fresh i.e. do you overlook the bottled on date or do others have a 'yardstick'...

If you see a bottled on date printed on a pale ale, IPA, pilsner etc do you have a rule of thumb for what you consider to be acceptable freshness from the date of bottling? I ask because I spotted a whole shelf of Cameron's RPA with the date stamped E3013 or May 30/13. I tried it once a while back, ...

The Alt and Lone Pine on cask were favourites.

Haven't tried any of their lineup yet and they're sold out at the brewery. Looking forward to trying all of them soon, especially the bière de garde.

Is there anyone in Sudbury or the northeast region that would split a case of Rochefort 10? I have a case on reserve but need 1 or 2 others to split it with me. I'd place the full order but could purchase about 8 bottles of that case. Need 1 or more to help me split this. Thanks
