I did the same thing with Labatt's 50 in the 1980's. Could never stand it in Ontario, but quite enjoyed the cans I brought back from Quebec. With apologies to Olympia, we always thought the difference was the water.

I've wasted enough money on Ontario "IPA" that promises one thing and delivers something entirely different. I'll need to hear/read some ringing endorsements before buying any. Yeah. I could be spending that $3 or $4 on something useful. Like half a haircut. Or two packs of gum. And where...

IIRC from my days working at the 'BO in the 70s, Egri Bikaver translates as Bull's Blood.

I like Pizza Plant but its usually my "one beer with lunch" place as opposed to a place to spend the evening. Blue Monk and Coles are the top two picks for me by a large margin. Goodbar depending on who you're with, what's on tap, and the local colour that evening! Thanks for the advice! ...

I agree with elproducto...very nice beer that I'd definitely have again, but a little thin.

Someone at Trafalgar must have pictures of someone at the LCBO doing something they shouldn't. The best part of drinking last year's Maple Bock was dumping it down the drain.

Does anybody remember the last time Trafalgar DIDN'T have something in a seasonal release?
