Since I'm new to the home brewing scene I have limited myself to pellets rather than leaf. As far as I know there is not a huge difference between the two. As for myself... Recently, I bottled a Rye PA that was bittered only with Chinook, and the "smokey" nature of the chinook hop really c...

Interesting article in the Globe

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-o ... le2041595/

Just came across this and thought I would share. Essentially Brian Titus of Garrison Brewery asking for help on how to manage his popularity. It's a good read.

I would have to say my moment was backpacking through Germany in the summer of 2004 before my complete conversion to craft beer. I had just finished an early morning train ride to Bamberg, and a 45 minute hike to my hostel. I unloaded some of my gear and walked 45 back into town with sweat pouring d...

You could try contacting the syndicate or Taps. They are owned by the smae people and I know have plenty...PLENTY...of growlers. Perhaps they could help you out?

I think its a good beer the choke slam. I just think that it is missing the over the top hop aroma. That the beers in the top 100 all have. It needs a bigger dry hop. I also had it fresh from tap and cask. The cask was better of the 2 in my opinion. It had a nicer aroma to it. Which I think is beca...

I'm kind of in agreement with TorontoBlue on this one. I loved the DFH and the anchor liberty. Although I rarely bought them.

What I would suggest is to try out GLB Crazy Canuck Pale Ale. In my opinion it is a great beer.

I can't say that i was a fan of the Saphire. It just didn't have the hop character that I like. However, the Taps Cascade was Phenomenal! One of the best beers I think they have brewed to-date.

Keep up it fellas.
