Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

Price-wise it's better than some places I've seen it at in the US.

Now if they could get some BA Narwhal in i'd be all over that.

Portland, ME

Apologies if there's another thread on Portland East, too lazy to search the archives. Was in this area for some business. Not a ton of beer to bring back due to space requirements but Portland is jumping! Some highlights: NEIPA is everywhere. Managed to quickly hit a few breweries for some samples,...

This batch of Through the Glass is money. The last batch was just kinda there.

As said above, the Distorted is always good.

Re: Badlands Brewing Caledon

Through the Glass has been a bit hit or miss for me - Batch I had in April was fantastic, the last couple batches haven't been as good (but still above average).

The Distorted is the star of the show for me.Reminds me of the stuff coming out of the Hudson Valley as of late.

Re: Old Tomorrow + Double Trouble = United Craft

Never really reached for either's product. As neutral on the merger and name change as I am on their beers.

Today's 25 cent history lessen, Old Tomorrow was John A. MacDonalds nickname. Say this for that brewer, they recognized the brewing trends of 1998.

Nothing exciting, but that's a big step up from the Genny Cream and Bud Light days of the Anchor.

Iron Tug I guess, but if you can drive another hour and hit Prison City in Auburn.

Rochester is lagging behind the Buffalo area.

Re: The Six Brewing

I know a very good brewer from down south applied for a position there. No idea if he heard back anything from them, but he would certainly have helped them up their game.
