Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

US - Passports accepted right up until the expiry date if you're Canadian. At land border crossings, Canadians can use a birth certificate with a drivers license (realistically, even if Canadian passport is expired, they'll still accept it at land crossings unless you're in a scenario that it actual...

Re: C'est What Beer List
Thanks for the update George...perhaps you can pass this zen sales pitch on to your door and bar staff. Unless in your lexicon a calm oasis means slow and inattentive service at the bar and "timeless quality" somehow equates to rude and inconsiderate customer service at the door. Sorry to...

I also strongly recommend Waterfront Ale House in Brooklyn Heights. Don't think's it's on Greg's list, but great micro-beer, food (ribs were awesome!), bartenders, and atmosphere. It's on the second subway stop across the river from Lower Manhattan to Downtown Brooklyn, and then about a 5-10 minute ...

Once tapped, how long can the beer stay fresh for? I've thought about having a home keg system myself, but I don't drink enough to finish it off before it would start going bad. Aren't there also 11 L, 15 L or 30 L kegs? Obviously an 11 or 15L option would be more manageable for an individual than a...

T'Brugs Beertje in Bruges is a great little pub, with every beer produced in Belgium and its matching glass available. Beer menu was like a book, sorted into each of its styles, and regions. Not really much food available here, mostly snacks, so eat somewhere else first. I toured two breweries in Br...
