Re: Bellwoods Brewery
Just grabbed from Hafis... still a good amount in the fridge, but as mentioned above, likely done by day's end. No line up when I was just there.

Re: King Taps - First Canadian Place
I've been a couple times now (once on Saturday and again last night). Super young staff with little to no beer knowledge (they're at least friendly and the service is on point), solid tap list and pretty good food. As a sports fan, I'm a bit of a sucker for places like this and The Craft Brasserie. ...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery
Did anybody else pick up Mango Milkshark today? The line up was out the door and half a block up Ossington at 11am. Apparently Hafis was lined up out the door and the parking lot was a mess. They're expecting to be sold out around 2pm. I think this will be their fastest selling beer ever, which is ...

Re: Did Bellwoods go too far with PG
Really enjoyed this one (and the Blackberry); my favourite of the three so far. I found the Pineapple to be way too sweet for my tastes (reminded me of canned Dole pineapples). That said, I still prefer a solid "normal" IPA over this style, but I think it's pretty cool to see Bellwoods doi...

Yeah, primarily growlers with the occasional bottle available. Check https://barncatales.comBlasphomet wrote:I need to get to Barncat pretty badly I guess. Wish more people would ship like Half Hours, but perhaps they are growlers only?

Re: The Ontario Craft Beer Guide 2
I figured Bellwoods. Was more interested in #2 I guess. Side Launch eh? Surprising. I'd have given it to Burdock or Half Hours on Earth. Wonder what put Side Launch there. Shit, or Barncat for that matter (Matt; I'm assuming you're one of the owners or that you work there... beyond worth the 1 hour...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery
So how's the blackberry milkshark, As good as pineapple? I hear it sold out pretty wuickly Pretty great. Like drinking blackberry sorbet. Yeah, they apparently sold out of all 400 at Hafis and the other 850 at Ossington by around the late afternoon. Wasn't a fan of the pineapple; found it to be too...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Robohop. Bitter, dry bomb... need something more thirst quenching after this. Clutch, Octopus Wants to Fight and Ransack on deck hmm. Probably Clutch time. EDIT: LCBO strikes again. Malt bomb of a Clutch, probably at least three months old (no date stamp). Had the other day from a different LCBO, an...
