Comrade, the will of the people have chosen the beers and the state provides those beers and only those beers that the will of the people will buy from the beers provided by the state. I hope you understand.

Speaking of underwhelming Rogue, I tried the Youngers Special Bitter last week, it was totally blah, low hops, low malt, low esters. No way! I enjoyed the bitter last time I had one. In fact I enjoyed it because of the lower hops and malt. Sometimes you need a break. The nut brown didn't do anythin...

"alcoholism and “untreated substance abuse” costs the state $4.15 billion in lost earnings as well as more than $8 million for health care and nearly $1 billion in law enforcement-related expenditures. " all caused by beer! hey I know something that costs about 40% of most economies that s...

Cam's Place (formerly Mad Monty's)

I noticed Mad Monty's (north of yonge & Eglinton) closed down after 15 years. Paper on the door says it will reopen mid-February with new owners.

Anyone heard anything?

It's right near my home, but since the only thing I liked on tap was Guinness, I didn't drop by too much.

Peculiar! I don't think I've had one for years. Next time. It's always one of the bitters, the IPA or now, the hopping mad.
Try the stout!

Oh, and any good beer stores in Miami Beach.

Perhaps the government needs to include a beer allowance with university grants? Complaining about beer being too expensive for students is nonsense. It's too expensive for everyone. Next thing there will be student discounts, and we'll all pay for that on top of subsidizing their education that the...
