Drinking a Night Marzen right now. I'd love to have this stuff in cans, as well as Lug Tread and the other Beau'a seasonals (save for maybe Bog Water...that needs to be replaced). Looking forward to paying $2 and sampling these Oktoberfest beers at the festival in a month, too. A proud "rookie ...

Thought it was like 2 minutes. Either way I got mine an hour later thanks to someone who never completed their payment.

As someone coming from out of town I was hoping they'd be released a little earlier than this. Oh well, shouldn't matter.

Too bad I split cases with Ian.

Fou is the only beer in my cellar I'd hesitate to drink on a non-special occasion. Though I plan to open one of them alongside this years batch whenever it releases and gets muled back to me. Otherwise, just a bunch of beers I'll gladly open any time to share with someone who could actually apprecia...

Can't wait, last year was great. Though I was a bit disappointed in some of the Ontario offerings last year, hope they're a bit better this year. Same with Zwanze itself.

When you have HF, trade for other HF you haven't had. Always doable even here on BT.

DDC Solstice D'Ete Cerise Cigar City Jai Alai HF/Blaugies Sarrasin Flying Monkeys BNL Cerise isn't Framboise, but fuck is it good. They need to bottle more of that series. Sarrasin was mindblowing. Thanks, Ian. I'll need to look into getting another bottle. BNL is gross. Sorry to any of you that sti...

Still lots of Solstice D'Ete Cerise at Marche des Brasseurs in the mall and Rapido as of 1pm today. Sounds like the same at Omni.

They have multiple signs on the walls of the brewery stating they check every growler before filling and will reject every one they feel isn't clean. They definitely check them, though I've not heard any stories of people getting rejected. EDIT: Upon a little searching, it turns out they do often pr...

It's Shaun Hill. No pre-filled growlers is 100% quality control (the tags are dated best before a week from the time of filling, pre-filling potentially knocks a day off that if they don't sell that day). The three times I've been there I'd say 90% of the people in line have their own glass anyway. ...

I went last week as well. The interior is significantly better than O'Connors was, we had great service, and the food was even quite good I thought (large sausage on a bun with some sort of potato salad on the side). But the price...oh boy, I couldn't even bring myself to order another pint as much ...

I think if there's a chance the bottle could sell out if everyone currently in the growler line maxed out on it, they don't allow people to buy it in the bottle line. Makes sense to me. If you ask me there's no perfect time to visit HF (besides if you think a bottle is going to sell out...then by al...

There's yet to be anything in Ottawa I would line up for. There's only one brewery here I trust the wait would be worth.

I'd line-up for BOYD if Bellwoods released it again. Though Hill Farmstead is a slightly shorter drive away...
