I checked Pharmacy out on Sunday night by myself, and Monday night with friends. There are the requisite beards and plaid shirts but as Greg says, the vibe is great. Chris is super friendly and on it, and the crowd (and it was crowded both nights) is diverse and interesting. I wouldn't expect a cask...

Budweiser makes a good projectile at a Jays\Yankees game.

True that, and it was a beautiful room. Living in the area though, I got somewhat frustrated at the private party\open to the public vibe the place had, but it would be nice if a decent beer destination became of it. Dream on, I know...

I'm really liking Tempest. Had a Welly Imp last night and it was good, but a bit...chalky and I had the same experience with the Bolshevik last time it was at C'est What. Found it really odd tasting, to be honest. Looking forward to trying the Russian Gun.

Rogue Yellow Snow now showing stock I went to Cooper St last night to get some Yellow Snow, thinking that maybe it would be in the back and show up on the website later. But no, according to the employee there are no plans for it to come to Cooper St. and is only expected to land at Summerhill. Bum...

I split a daytime bottle with a friend yesterday, and loved it. Great way to spend a late afternoon. I found Yellow Snow at Summerhill, but that's the only place listed on the LCBO website so far.

Agree with the flavour comment, and yeah, I seem to recall a fairly flat pour. Think I've tried them all now, and I would rate them (in terms of my taste) Pumking, Shipyard, Grand River, McAuslan, Black Creek and way, way down the list, Brooklyn. Awful beer. I have a growing respect for the beers Bl...

any other readily availible ontario craft beers that are under the radar?
I'll second that. I don't drink it as often as I used to but it's always good. It pops up once in a while on cask at C'est What - yum.

Wrong. I'll take Headstock over Mad Tom any day. And I "need" Hop Addict as well.

Parkdale Brewery

Just wondering - has anybody actually tried anything from this brewery? I mean, they've been a Facebook presence for over a year with pictures of their beers etc. but I've never seen a single case\bottle\tap handle anywhere, even in Parkdale. I've never seen any business by that name in Parkdale eit...
