I wonder what the stats are for exactly how much money they are taking away from the province? I bet it hardly scratches the surface. Doesn't UBrews pay taxes to the gov't? Bastards...

Millbrook isn't far from Peterborough. I'll do my part to keep those taps from getting dry.

As a long time homebrewer, this is great news. I live in the township of Cavan and am in Millbrook quite often. One thing is for sure, water quantity will not be a problem. Water is everywhere, but with lots of iron.

Thanks Jester

I may try a bottle if it is at the LCBO. I usually buy local or made by Ontario Craft Brewers.

I wonder if they could lower the price if it was packaged in a bottle without the flip-top?

That is why I only bought one, and will only do that once a year, usually around this time. I bought it for when friends come around during the holidays, I'll bring it out and we will all have a taste. I then of course will put my own beer in that same bottle and store it down in my cellar for next ...

Do you have room for a 3 gallon pop keg? You can also get a 5 lb. C02 tank. These don't take up much room and should fit in a bar fridge.

I am waiting for reviews from other homebrewers. Just surf the American beer forums and I am sure we'll get and answer soon enough.

I live in a rural area far away from any convenience store. It wouldn't change anything if they were allowed to sell beer. I personally think that our provinical gov't has too much to say in how and where beer is sold. The "minimum price" thing really bugs me. I have to go out of my way to...

I always add extra yeast since I just sprinkle it on top. I buy bricks of yeast and vacuum seal it.

Re-Promash

I have been using Promash for years now. You can edit malts, hops, or anything in it. I have my own list of grains, hops etc... I just go to inventory and add my amount. I do have a small issue with Windows 7 though. Sometimes in the note section, it won't save my brew notes. I know it is a Windows ...
