Re: Keep6 Imports opens online bottle shop

Saw this tweet today. It's funny that this sold out in seconds, when it sat on Premier Gourmet's shelf for months! Quite a nice price break too compared to the $24.99 premier had it for! Would've been cool to grab a case, but work got in the way!

Re: Nickel Brook Brewing

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that immodest was going to be 5$ for a tAllboy at lcbo. Seems high to me, but just throwing it out to those who have had it( I havnt). Would it be worth $5? Or compare it to Bellwoods 6.50 iipa 500ml bottles. Nicklebrook and Great Lakes are pricing their cans well. ...

too bad about the bombers for the lcbo, that just means I'll buy zero of these instead of 10-12. at least immodest and malevolent are just around the corner!

Re: worst Ontario beer of 2015?

to me both 5 boroughs and shapeshifter from amsterdam were two of the worst beers that i had last year. both were nice when they were fresh, but when I came back to them a month or two later were infected messes. I'm really glad I didn't load up on either of them and will likely stay away from amste...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

i still don't understand his post. especially if he has a cognac and scotch collection that would make my toes curl. unless by that he means "the quality of scotch is so bad your toes will curl with pain." want a cash grab? by a good to excellent scotch and pay over $100/bottle for it. fi...

Re: Re:

Southern tier/ the good Great Lakes (USA) - 2xone was a great beer this year and I rarely find a miss from their lineup. I love nosferatu and blackout stout. Both breweries are easy to find fresh as well which helps. :o digging up a nearly 2 year old post? haha. must be pretty bored today. my thoug...

Re: The Exchange Brewery

I believe when I was there 750ml bottles of their IPA were $11.50 :o :o :o :o Was this a collab with Lake of Bays and Oast House? That actually made me laugh out loud. Therefore, LOL. I think I saw someone mention the price on untappd and I burst out laughing. This IPA better be Hill Farmstead, Tri...

Re: US Beer Releases (premier, consumer, vbm)

Familiarity breeds indifference. Bomb used to sell out on the US Retail sites at 10 bucks a bottle (which is a ridiculous price) 12 months ago. Speaking of the retail sites, one has BCBS at 17.99 if somebody really REALLY wants it. Heading across this weekend for some business. Last couple peeks be...

Re: US Beer Releases (premier, consumer, vbm)

Maybe I should just let this thread die, but there's a bunch of nice stuff on the shelves at premier right now. - About 6 different alamanac farm to barrels up on the beer station shelf, they don't seem to move very fast. - Avery Vanilla Bean BA Stout is out on the shelf in the Colorado section, alo...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO

According to this on Ontario Beverage Network http://www.momandhops.ca/new-tall-cans-for-oast-houses-barnraiser-country-ale/ "Plans for an LCBO release are also underway for later this year." Don't get excited, it's a below average, bland, standard pale ale that almost every brewery in On...

Re: Bellwoods Brewery

I was pleasantly surprised by that. They also have Monogamy Centennial, Lost River, and Jutsu back in there. There's also a limit of 4 for the Farmageddon #10. There was a healthy line when I was there shortly after 11, probably about 25-35 people. How long does it typically take a line like that t...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Bought some more Lake Effect from the lcbo yesterday and find it tastes the same as the ones I bought from great lakes direct a couple weeks ago, 11/23/15 canned on date for these ones. one thing i've noticed is that their beers (maybe everyones) get better after a few weeks in the can. i've found t...
