Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

If you're going out East, look for Pumphouse Blueberry Ale. It's one of the few fruit beers I can think of that's pleasantly sweet and straightforward, rather than the complex sours and saisons that are popular these days. Hey Craig, I am leaving for east coast August 1st. Any suggestions on where ...

Re: Prince Edward Island

Glad I found this, our annual 2 weeks summer vacation in the east coast takes us through PEI this time and I was hoping there would be something worthwhile there

What's the pub situation like there? What hours are last call? Any bars that stay open late? I like to go until 3am

Darn, I've actually never tried a Bellwoods beer, ever. I spend my time between Brampton, Montreal, and Windsor.. Never downtown Toronto unfortunately

Wouldn't have a clue on how to go about getting some off somebody, but I'll happily buy it if the opportunity ever comes up

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

A couple of my favourite beerz this summer have been fruit beers. Starting with grandmas boy, I can't think of anything that would make that beer any better. I'm enjoying the unibroue raspberry ephemere(from tbs mixer pack). I'm regularly buying royal city Habiscus and the nickelbrook uber is great...

Thanks very much for the post. Do you know any that are readily available at the LCBO? I'm going to google the two you mentioned now I've been trying to find the Forgotten Lake Blueberry Ale but it's not available near me. Blueberry beers are amazing with pancakes, maple syrup, and bacon while campi...

Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect

Hey folks.. I will start by saying I know this is going to be extremely unpopular. Most fruit beers get crucified on the rate beer type websites - but I don't actually care and I don't judge my beers based on popular opinion.. Unlike the rest of the beer expert population, I actually love a Fruli on...

Bitburger, Radeberger, Czechvar, Warsteiner, and similar

I have a question.. Now that it is public knowledge that almost ALL major macros are using additives like sweeteners and HFCS, I want to know how the European counterparts fare.. What I mean is; the 4 beers I listed in the topic are very safe (and IMO solid) choices in the session category, but the ...

OK, let's say I bought 24 Blanche du Paradis and 24 Aphrodisasque, every other variety I see myself buying far less than 24 of (but still some of every single kind, for reviewing and notes). Would my 24 Blanche & Aphrodite last say, 3 months? Pretty sure I'll massacre all of these rather fast, b...

Hi folks! People may know me from other popular Food & Drink boards however I am a new user here :) I am a huge fan of imported beers and have been to DDC! on a few occasions during recent trips to Montreal and always loved their beer. Huge fan of the Blanche du Paradis, and I think I'm even mor...
