I agree that many of the new guys will start to struggle. Being the new local guy is good and all, but without a better then average product to keep people coming back you get forgotten. So predictions, we continue to see new startups, but we'll also start to see closures, which will seesaw for the ...

Like you say most of the beers have no brew date, or random codes. The ones I did see were mostly nov/Dec ish. According to the c...

Forget bear world, Bottle Caps is better.... Was there this past weekend and picked up: Bells Two Hearted Ale gre...

Why on the food only?

I'd imagine the breweries located in northern Ontario love it. Does Sudbury even have 5 beer stores? Turns out they do, but the Sault and North Bay do not.

Meaning they can cover their entire communities with this deal.

They've also started bottling bombers, as the growler / squealer returns are lacking... Who doesn't return a growler with a $5 deposit? Just cracked into Tannenbomb, an imperial wit with spruce and cranberry (7.9 % abv, 20 IBU). Nice, dry and crisp, the spruce is the dominate flavour, not my favorit...

Just brought home a 32oz LPJC (Le Père Jean Claude) strong belgian IPA (7.7% 75 IBU). Just about everything you want in an ipa. Persistent head, very nice lacing making rings on my glass, similar hoppiness to mad Tom (slightly hoppier IMO) with that Belgian yeast finish. Well done Stone City! Slots ...

Nickel Brook X Stone City Sons Of Sydenham - Draft @ Thirsty & Transmissible. Wow, American wheat? It's like an amazing session IPA without any cumbersome bitterness. Get the F down here for a pint, this is very good, probably IPA territory for a Wheat Ale. Think grapefruit in a totally good wa...
