Bells, Shorts, Founders, Jolly Pumpkin, Dark Horse are just 5 good Michigan breweries I can think of off hand. Jolly Pumpkin will put the drain on your wallet in a hurry, but it's oh so worth it! Thats what I noticed, there was one from Dogfish that was $9.99 a bottle, there wasn't a lot of singles...

Michigan Beer Stop

Happened to be in the Sterling Heights area over the weekend and thought I'd pick up some different beer to take home. Since at times it was 35C I wasn't looking for a wild goose chase so we stopped at a classy looking grocery store a la Food Network Chef Challenge named Nino Salvaggio. Big wine are...

The beers are the Dunkel and the Weisse. Nothing new, and the Dunkel is pretty boring. Now that I think of it, the Weisse is filtered to all hell.........me and my addiction to friggin glasses. I must have a different pack, all my beers were Weisse and they weren't filtered. Best before date of 01-...

Same thing happened with The Pumphouse Blueberry, 2 stores, 1 in Brampton and 1 in Ottawa had it almost 4 weeks before anybody else got it.

Some sort of disruption in the space-time continuum.

I suspect you were on an excursion in the Antarctic and missed last years lime fiasco. It was as omnipresent as it was revolting. I shouldn't speak for the original poster, but I suspect he simply missed writing the word lime when he wrote "in 2009 it was Bud Light". I'm pretty sure Brick...

Beer Fads Summer 2010

I always wonder when we get to this time of the year what the latest sought after mass market beer will be. In 2009 it was Bud Light, 2008 it was Dos Equis. This year it looks like Miller Chill. I was taking back some empties and they were just adding it to the leader board. Supposedly it is a remak...
