Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
I assumed you would say The Wooly, but also Sip Club has a very good selection. eBar is decent too. Just saying, I think there's more than 2 places in Guelph. I'vehonestly never been in the sip club before but that's good to know. I'll have to make a point of stopping in. I havnt been to the ebar i...

Re: What're you Bellwoodsing right now?
A Bellwoods bottled on Feb 2013, this one a 750ml Saison, barrel aged in 1/3 part Cider barrel, 1/3 part Pinot Noir barrel. Very rounded out with a huge head, a complex fruitiness in taste and aroma and the kind of delicate dry & black peppery palate you sometimes get aging saisons. Having this...

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
FWIW I was in Baker Street station(one of really only two pubs in Guelph with decent tap selection) just the other day. Reading the chalkboard; I noticed spearhead has no taps anymore, when I believe they used to have at least 2 if not 3 full time for the past couple of years. Who is the other? The...

Bummer! I did however score huge at the LCBO at Heartland.. Picked up some Jolly Pumpkin Bam Biere, some random grapefruit IPA, a Waterloo Blueberry Hefeweizen, Samuel Smith Organic Apricot Ale, Royal City Hibiscus Saison, a citra rhubarb beer, and some 12 minutes to destiny . Feuo-No spices/fruit/...

Re: What're you drinking right now?
Sawdust city little Norway lager-God, is this bad. Mad at myself for buying this.... I could barely finish it. Jolly pumpkin bam biere- I think this is excellent, funky, dry, earthy and so refreshing. I'll be picking up more for the cellar Collingwood saison- tasted like an average wheat beer to me. I...

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2016
^^^^^^ I also remember enjoying it last year, and I remember thinking how well it held up when I drank it vs. the bottling date. I too will pick up a bottle or two and see if I enjoy it as much this time around

I had the Bam Biere last night....out of this world good. On the other side, i've had the sam smiths apricot before and I absolutely hated it. One of the very few sam smiths products that i havn't enjoyed.

Grandmas boy was a recent bellwoods release. I highly doubt there's any left at the brewery. Best bet would be scoring off of someone

Re: Fruit, flowers, and spice beers are underrated and deserve more respect
A couple of my favourite beerz this summer have been fruit beers. Starting with grandmas boy, I can't think of anything that would make that beer any better. I'm enjoying the unibroue raspberry ephemere(from tbs mixer pack). I'm regularly buying royal city Habiscus and the nickelbrook uber is great ...

Re: LCBO Summer Craft Beer Release 2016
Calling ipa STILL sitting in a warehouse somewhere? What a shame. I assume the same is true for Rogue 7 Hop. The last time it came to the LCBO is was reasonably fresh and tasty. Just stopped in the William st lcbo in Waterloo. Picked up a couple bam biere. The rogue 7 hop was sitting on the same(un...
