Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
Not sure why, but Bellwoods BA stuff almost NEVER did it for me...Farmagedon the exception...and I was a huge fan of Hellwoods from the start! I remember the first time I tried BYOD, I was underwhelmed big time and thought, is this it? I assume the fault was with me though. Regardless, these argumen...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Not sure what the fuss is about the KBS price...it's a 12% very long aged beer with expensive ingredients. Cafe Del Bastardo might be the best Imperial Stout this province has made, but that's quite a bit more expensive than KBS. Add me to the list of people who love the 12 oz bottles! If I had to p...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
...having said all that, I'll see you with my sleeping bag outside Summerhill! As much as I would love to buy a few, no beer (or whisky) is worth long lines - even at Summerhill (been there, done that, not doing it again!) Nah...was joking... Way too old to wait in line for just about anything thes...

Re: Coming Soon to the LCBO
Just had my vintages friend order a bunch for our local...there's still lots to order...plus he said it's going to be pushed out to,like, everywhere... If you go call your store tomorrow and check they can probably tell you if it's coming or not... Everyone chill... Bars aren't going to swoop in for...

Uh...I was about to jump in here and rave about how this is probably the best Karma Citra Batch I ever had!
All late hops, low bitterness, but juicy...
Could be totally wrong I guess, or...more for me?

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS
FWIW I find the John Molson strong pale ale a very fine beer.. Very oldfashioned and English rich malty backbone. Fruity and grainy. Nice looking. Good head retentioned. Firmly bitter at first, not a ton of late hopping here. But then recedes as your taste buds adjust and just comes across as balanc...

I have! Nose is really great..crisp and piney...It certainly tastes pretty fresh but it also reminds me that our own IPAs are not out of place with this. ..

It is definitely "meh"ish, but Dragons's Milk is nice to have back and I quite like Tree BIPA when it's fresh - always a good value.

Hey Everyone first time posting on the fancy new site. Thought I'd put this out there. Pleasantly surprised with Black Creek Empirical Ale. Dark amber. long lasting lacy head. Nice English Golding type hop not floral. Mix this with caramelized notes of the malt and you get a bit of dark fruits in th...

Does anyone know if Summerhill is the only store that got the Weller? The web site inventory isn't updated. I heard that Cornwall in Oakville did. I would think that Mavis and Dundas probably did, but if you check which LCBO stores have 'Whiskey Shops' those will be your best bet. Thank you. The in...

Sure, that would be great advice, except Weller hasn't been available in the LCBO for like 9 months. And its probably only going to get more scarce in the future. I actually prefer EC 12 to Weller 12. Thankfully, Heaven Hill has the largest stockpile of older bourbon.....hopefully they don't burn s...
